In March 2022, during one of the late COVID 19 surge-lockdowns, Dr. Cooper hosted a virtual chess tournament (THE COVID GAMBIT) that raised over $ 3900 to support the purchase of new infusion pumps for the Department of Anesthesia. These pumps save lives today.
THE COVID GAMBIT 2023 will be live, in person, right where our community joined arms to defeat COVID -19 in a real-life battle.
